What's in the Demo
A number of the different ways we show
advertising to respondents online are illustrated in the demo survey that
follows:
-
Full
motion video – for the growing segment of the population that can
be reached through their high speed, broadband connections to the internet.
-
Masked commercials
– where retouching has removed everything identifying the advertiser, so
we can ask “Do you remember who this was for?”
-
Color photo boards
– virtually everybody who is online can be surveyed with these.
They are also good when you want to check out a large number of
commercials, and do it in a single survey.
-
Radio commercials
- computer speakers and a 56K modem is usually enough to hear these.
-
Print advertising
– billboards, posters, in store displays, and online ads can all be tested
in the same way.
-
Pretesting story
boards – We recently presented a paper to the ARF on this.
-
Diagnostics and
demographics – The standard battery of questions we use in both
areas, and for which we have extensive norms, is also included in this demo.
