Donald E. Bruzzone - President and founder of BRC. Don is a widely
published, recognized authority in the marketing research industry
specializing in advertising research. He developed the BRC test - a
method for measuring the effectiveness of TV commercials based on
recognition and diagnostics that first brought BRC to national attention. He is a
researcher with over 50 years experience studying the effect of marketing
efforts on a wide variety of products for Safeway, Chevron and as Vice
President - Research at Bozell Advertising, before founding BRC in 1976.
He is a graduate of the University of California at Berkeley, with a B.S.
and an MBA in Marketing.

including NBC's Today Show. His work has been cited in the columns of a
number of newspapers and magazines including: New York Times, USA Today,

Paul Shellenberg - Director of Sales - He
is responsible for attracting new clients to BRC, making these clients
aware of BRC's capabilities, and seeing that they are optimally applied to
new clients needs. He is also responsible for maintaining BRC's client
base, seeing that their needs continue to be met; publishing newsletters
and background material on BRC, and maintaining BRC's database of clients
and prospects. He has a Bachelor's Degree from California State University
at San Diego. He is a member of the American Marketing Association and
served as Vice President of Sales for the San Francisco Bay Area Chapter
of the AMA (1996-97).
Patricia Westervelt - Field Director -
She has been involved in numerous BRC research projects since 1989. Pat is
responsible for project budgets; hiring field work facilities across the
country; overseeing projects from approval to completion and delivery of
final reports to clients. She is also responsible for keeping projects on
time, and on budget by maintaining constant contact with data collection
firms. She has a B.S. in accounting. She is Past President of the Northern
California/Pacific Northwest Chapter of the Marketing Research
Association. She is also an active member of the American Marketing Association
and has served from 1997-2006 as a Vice President and member of the
Board for the
SF Bay Area Chapter. Pat has also achieved Professional Researcher
Certification (PRC) status in March 2006.
Joyce Rinck - Tabulations Director - She
has been involved in a wide variety of research projects at BRC since
1988. Joyce is in charge of all computer work and quantitative analysis.
This includes a wide variety of multivariate procedures as well as the
design and execution of computer cross tabulation tables. She was formerly
a Project Manager in the Market Research Department of Pacific Bell. She
has a Master's degree in Statistics from the California State University
of Hayward.
